About Us
Main aim of institution are to educate the illiterate children of the slum and backward areas of Maharashtra.Institution is dedicated to "Sarwa Siksha Abhiyan" to educate one and all of the society.The management of Lokbharti Group of School and College under kailashpuri Seva Samiti, Mumbai (Regd) believes in the motto--"Plan your work and work your plan" It always believes in dreaming and planning.The test of a good teacher is not how many questions he can ask his pupils that they will answer readily, but how many questions he inspires them to ask him which he finds it hard to answer.College has Science, Commerce, Arts Stream.

LOKMANYA TILAK
First leader of the Indian Independence Movement
We named Lokmanya High School after the famous freedom figher and social reformer Bal Gangadhar Tilak.He was fondly called Lokmanya by the people of India.Tilak knew that the greatest weapon a generation possesses is basic education.
Main aim of these extraordinary patriots was not just to teach the young minds of India but to teach and educate the adults and spread awareness to free our beloved country from the clutches of foreign rulers.On 1st August 1920, Tilak breathed his last but his words- "Freedom is my birth-right and I shall have it" continues to inspire the people of this great nation of ours.
OUR FUTURE PLANS
1. The management of school has planed to provide mordern and hi-tech quality education to our students.Audio-visual programmers,scirntific aides will be introduced shortly.
2. To equip our students with job oriented cources so that they can find suitable work in various industries, we have started cources in Hotel management, Computer Education, Montessori etc. We also plan to start cources in the field of education training with cources such as D.Ed, B.ed and other cources such as Buisness Management,Polytechnics etc.
3. The management of Lokbharati Group of School and Colleges has set very high goals for itself.It is planning to start a Degree College in Arts,Commerce and Science at Talasari,Umbergaon.A four acre plot has already been bought for the same
